Yeah I was letting go, was totally at peace with Ms. Knapp going off and doing and being whatever and whoever God designed her to be outside of the spotlight... and now He has put her back.
Idk for how long.
But its great to hear her voice again, making new songs and repin' The One and Only as she always did on her new album Letting Go, whether explicitly or thru her tesimony on the guitar.
I wish I'd known tho, according to her website (http://www.jenniferknapp.com/about) she released the album early last month! I only found out cuz I was on Twitter and I had just added Kris Allen and say he left a comment on Jennifer Knapps page and i was like O_O "wha?!"
And she's continuing her style of writing as God had her doing years ago... explicitly Christian when its time to be, and reflecting on the life he has given generally... also when need be. I just that, following God can be scary sometimes and it just seems so easy to just scream his name all over the place, make sure every1 knows YOU rep Christ. But hardly do we ever let His gifts speak of him for themselves... we just gotta be seen as "right".
So thank you Jennifer for ministering, for never really leaving, for following God back into the spotlight if that's where he's taking you. Thank you God for seeing in us, hopefully, the maturity to accept the ministry who is Jennifer Knapp.
