Artmemis Fowl 7

There it is, the newest Artemis Fowl novel, titled The Atlantis Complex and boy I can't wait! Ever since my best friend blogger My Fortress of Solitude got me into it back in 2001 I have LOVED this series of books and I own almost all of them except for the 3rd one The Eternity Code, but that's only cuz I wanted it in hardcover. I have three of them in softcover and two in hardcover, back when Colfer said he'd only write six books (yeah sure). so i need to get that one and then grab up this latest one which debuts next Tuesday!

This is exciting also because for a few years now its been rumored that an Artemis Fowl mvie would be made, but no luck as of late =/ but I'd so be behind a motion picture version of this book if a good one ever came out.

Heck I'd make it myself!

Details are sketchy as to what this book is about, but the good thing is that fans won't raise their eyebrows wondering what the heck Atlantis is doing here. We know that Atlantis was one of the last fairy cities hundreds of years ago so its been refferenced in the books before. So something really exciting has been unearthed I'd guess in relation to the now lost fairy city of Atlantis.

Its gonna be so AWESOME, dude takes me back to my teens ^_^. If you've never read Artemis Fowl or any of Eoin Colfer's books, get to the library or nearst bookstore and check em out, full of truly great laughs (my fav literary trait in his books) and righteous action.

Write you guys later!

Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex hits bookstores in the USA Tuesday August 3rd, 2010!

  1. I've been hearing about this series for awhile now, and I think I might just have to check it out the next time I'm at the library (after a few more Toni Morrisson and Haruki Murakami novels). It sounds pretty interesting!

  2. It came out! Have you seen it yet? I love these books. Well, "Time Paradox" was a little underwhelming, to be honest, but other than that, I love these books.

And honestly, if they're going to botch up Artemis Fowl the way they did Percy Jackson, then I don't want an Artemis Fowl movie. Just saying...
